Q: How many paid shills are on the forum today, attacking Toyota and defending GM?
Gotcha!

A: In normal business circles, wouldn’t it be considered unethical and unseemly for the board of directors of a car company to “grill” officers of a competitor?
US Congress should recluse itself from anything to do with car companies until it divests itself of Government Motors…

Q: Does anyone know if there are Toyota Truck Forum with Classified ads?

A: I don’t know where you are located but there is the www.TTORA.com website mainly for SoCal. They were helpful to me.
Please don’t report me for spamming….I have no interest in TTORA. I am merely answering a question. In fact, I don’t even own a Toyota truck anymore.

Q: Is there a forum dedicated to Toyota 4runners Off-Road and modification? With well informed users?
3rd Gen 1998

Q: Where can I ask a question about may Dad’s Toyota and get a factual answer?
Is there a ‘real’ Toyota owners forum that has not been corrupted by the haters?

A: I second the Toyotanation. I love Toyota. It makes you wonder why so many haters waste there time here. I don’t go to Ford or Chevy section. I just try to help

Q: Is there a Toyota Corolla owner’s forum that I can consult other owner’s?

A: Toyota Corolla is sold in a lot of countries across the globe. So there are quite a few forums and owner’s club websites on the net. Also some of these forums address customizations though most of them address repair issues. If you are looking for a specific forum in your country, then you can google and find out. You will get a lot of websites. I am pasting a website I found for the US region:

http://us.toyotaownersclub.com/

Hope this helps

Q: Forum or mod sites for Toyota Corolla?
I just bought a 1999 Corolla. I was looking for a forum site or mod how-to site for cars like mine.

A: Why would you want to mod (yet alone drive) a mom car?

Q: Where can I find a video on how to change brake pads on a 2006 Toyota Camry?
I found this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3tOZWSOmxs
However, it really didn’t help, since each screen is so small and fast (“1 minute brake job”). I’ve looked at some Toyota forums but didn’t see any pictures or videos. Perhaps someone here knows?
Thanks.

A: Usually after one of the videos is done…as you know…they show choices for other videos at the end…..maybe check one of those.

I see several tips on the following videos that may help you… just watch for the other video choices after this video.

Q: Toyota Privia Help please
Hi i have just acquired a Toyota Privia 2.4 petrol auto N. reg and i love it but i am only getting about 35 miles for £10 and can smell petrol in the cab?.2.when i am driving along i can sometimes feel a slight tapping metal feeling from the accelerator pedal [only now and then] i ha ve tried the Toyota Forum but its a waste of time they will not even reply can anyone offer any advice please thanks

A: Sounds like a fuel system leak. The tapping probably isn’t what you think it is. My opinion is have your fuel system checked for leaks. Have you had your injectors serviced or the fuel filter changed? I smelled fuel one time on my 1994 Previa. After having the fuel filter changed, the odor went away and pressure was back to normal. It also cleared up the tapping feeling because the fuel was flowing as it should.

Q: Do you believe that Toyota safety issues are being blown out of proportions so americans can do beter?
You can take a look on this interesting article on http://forums.motortrend.com/70/8078531/the-general-forum/car-makers-with-the-most-complaints/index.html about the car makers with the most complaints. Ford is number 10 and GMC 11 while Toyota is in number 17 of the top 20 car makers.
What do you think?

A: Blown out of proportions ?? They knew about the problem for like ten years, they paid lobbyist to cover it up, and they even figured out how much $$$ they saved by not fixing the problem…. Sounds more like they decided the deaths of thirty or so Americans wasn’t that big of a deal….. I think that’s like almost the dictionary definition of fraud for profit.

Q: I need to come up with a name for a dallas fort worth based website for toyota forums. any ideas?

A: StillSteers.com is #2, but #1 is:

theLoneSteer.com
